A few notes on copyright laws.


"Copyright protection subsists from the time the work is created in fixed form. The copyright in the work of authorship immediately becomes the property of the author who created the work. Only the author or those deriving their rights through the author can rightfully claim copyright."

When you write a piece of music, you are immediatly the owner of that work. The Drumline Music Archive does not publish works under copyright without permission from the owner. Thus, any contributer to The Drumline Music Archive must give us his permission before we may publish his work. If you believe The Drumline Music Archive is illegally hosting one of your works, please notify us by sending an email to DrumlineMusicArchive@gmail.com and we will remove any of your works with our sincerest apologies.
